After giving up on games like COD and League ( I was always shit at those games anyway) and instead playing single player games or just multiplayer games like Helldivers 2 I have no reason to use Windows.

Right now I use Arch and have had zero issues since I installed it in February.

I absolutely despise the state of computing. It seems that no matter where you turn it is always shit, just that you have to pick your own flavor of shit. Cope. Almost nothing is natively supported on Linux and has to go through a compatibility layer like proton on steam. Even then there are usually issues and a lot of stuff just plain doesn't work no matter what. Good luck playing online multiplayer games.

What the fuck is even the point of me wasting my hard drive space on Linux then? Windows has better compatibility than Linux for gaming so I will game on Windows instead of Linux. All of my productivity software that I need for college and my job are proprietary and windows only so I will use Windows for productivity. I can watch youtube videos, jack off to porn, listen to music and surf the web just fine under Windows as well. I feel like you're sorely mistaken on how Arch even functions, but that's okay because most people start with ubuntu or a derivative of it, Mint, which is still so significantly less bloated than even 7 that you don't really have much room to argue about "bloat". Save for like maybe 7 Pro, that was a nice clean install compared to Home Edition.
Package managers actually do what they're told and cleanly uninstall anything you don't want AND its unused dependencies, and doesn't reinstall itself with forced updates you have to constantly toggle back off (because it didn't actually uninstall) or check every so often.
