Well, I told myself I'd never do it but thanks to some careful note taking, many runs back to the item box and a little bit of patience, I finally beat REmake with Chris. Ever since the original RE1, I've avoided playing as Chris due to his measly 6 item slots but all things considered it really wasn't so bad. Now I can finally put down the game and never, ever play as Chris again because fuck returning to the item box every 5 minutes.

Chris requires planning and forward thinking (you carry fully loaded weapons and leave the ammo at the boxes for example, and also don't loot gremlin everything shiny), which is something zoomers aren't capable of doing

Yeah Chris is a slog to play, you know it’s badly designed when you run into a room and feel annoyed that it’s filled with supplies because it means you’ll have to do multiple trips to collect everything.
