I'm very autistic about it but the trick animations in these games haven't looked good to me since THUG1. It's like the more "realistic" they try to make them look the worse they actually look to me. It just doesn't jive with the arcadey physics, plus something about the old THPS3-THUG animations had a better flow to them between tricks and stuff, newer animations in comparison look kinda janky and spastic to me, the arms specifically look wacky and awkward.
