looks like it's just lower res with no AA, the model looks the same. low native res is a non issue when emulating, not sure why you'd care. the underlying asset quality matters the most.
looks best on PS2 honestly, the bloom looks weaker on xbox. but if the bloom doesn't upscale well then xbox should be decent too. gamecube is clearly lesser.
to be fair if you hate bloom then you might prefer gamecube on that basis. but it's clearly supposed to be part of the game's look.

Just tried it and yeah, people had a point when they said the controls fucking suck. When it works it's fine, but jesus christ it has bad japanese camera syndrome. Forced inverted, shoots up and down with no granularity, it's already got left and right turning on the left stick too, but if you try to turn with just the left stick it actually caps your turn and you stop. All this in a fucking flying game where half the enemies are on different verticality levels than you.
Frankly any game with forced inverted camera is already a little doodoo, but this is an achievement in bad cameras.

The game is otherwise a mission based lite ninja 'sim'. There are three factions. you get to pick which task to accept from whom, mission after mission. your options are limited, and failure is an option. Sometimes (rarely) accepting a quest just to intentionally fail it is preferable depending how you want to game the factions.
its definitely a B grade game, but there's a lot of novelty and still nothing quite like it, save I guess the sequel on PSP.
