In wake of the news of a remake of FFX and you guys bitching, what Final Fantasy do you ACTUALLY want to see them remake

Why not? They've proven with 13, 14, 15, and 16 that they're incapable of creating an actual good new IP from the Final Fantasy series. The FF7 remakes saved their company and they know that it's better to rehash their old shit than make new shit no one wants

I would rather see SE remake the games that weren't released in English like Racing Lagoon.
As for FF's I just want FFXIII trilogy on PlayStation 4/5 so all the games can be played on PS5, but Mystic Quest would make for the best remake, zoomers need an entry-level JRPG and the game can be easily expanded upon and add a hard mode for vets.

ff8. according to the director the final game is half the size that was planned. and with the 7 remakes making it ok to add in all the expanded universe shit then it would be the perfect excuse to add in the shit they planned on making.
