The success of Death Stranding is undeniable proof that Kojima can do absolutely anything. Literally anything. His devoted following will keep insisting it's the most amazing thing ever.

Is it normal for the combat to feel so clunky? To me, this seems like Kojima's most conservative game,practically identical to the prequel when it comes to boss fights, which are basically glorified cutscenes. Why does everyone complain about QTEs in Final Fantasy, but when Kojima uses them, they're considered perfect?
