My theory is that it's KRool and the Kremlings deep underground near the core that will get released and make their way to the surface for DKC stuff.
There's something suspicious about the skeletons in the rock monsters, and Void Kong sealed Pauline in a mini rock.
The amount of levels they showed was only 4/5? Void Kong doesn't feel like it'd be final boss, unless he does wacky shit like Bananza transformations too.

The Golden banana pickup animation and locations have me fearful of there being a bloated amount of them in the game.
Being able to throw out different punches as you roll is fun
Climbing is surprisingly smooth
Camera may or may not become an issue.

from what I played, no shaking so far.
Button layout is different as XYB correspond to UpPunch, ForwardPunch, and DownPunch respectively. A being to jump.
Most of you're movement chaining is rolling into a leap, then going into a falling forward roll from a leap.
DK controls more precisely than Mario on the ground and in the air imo.
And you can punch during a roll for different rolls.

Less than Odysseys moons then, which hopefully means more meaningful golden bananas. The intro level definitely doesnt make it feel that way, but the late level I got to play made them seem more worthwile.

Very much disagree. the different directional punches and how you can combo movement with them adds to being able to utilize the 3D space more imo. The grabs add even more to DKs moveset in this one. DK is more of a bouncing wrecking ball where as Mario is more of a trapeze artist. But they made DK control more precisely than Mario imo.

Not really. Climbing is a boon in the open level segments, but its not an overriding option thanks to the different rock types and other movement options giving you more options to go fast. In the linear challenges climbing is virtually useless though.
