X happens long after the others. The sequels were released out of chronological order.
It's the roman numeral ten, because they already planned ahead of time that the series will switch their numbering system once they reach 5, like all series do.

X is largely unconnected to 1-3. The only connection is that they're all part of a larger mega universe that houses multiple smaller universes but the universe(s) in X are different from the 1-3 universes.

The original Earth from X is an entirely different universe and separate from 1-3. They're probably in the Klausverse somewhere post-chapter 13 universe hop because of feelings or some shit but we won't know til 4.

OK but why did the Sumarians have the conduit? Why did he make a Gundam with its powers?
How does this make sense?
Most importantly how are we still alive after the <spoiler> I don't see how they were still moving the entire time.
There was also the time travel guy I bought a car for, he said there was something strange about the planet.
Like its a giant prison or something out of LOST
The story is so all over the place that I'm left confused

>OK but why did the Sumarians have the conduit? Why did he make a Gundam with its powers?
Why would you not make a Gundam if you had the resources?
>Most importantly how are we still alive after the <spoiler> I don't see how they were still moving the entire time.
Everyone's souls were always in the collective unconscious and ferried across universes by the Ares.
>There was also the time travel guy I bought a car for, he said there was something strange about the planet.
>Like its a giant prison or something out of LOST
The planet was a prison for souls that couldn't be physically left whether you tried to travel through space or time. The only way to do it was by universe hopping through the power of the Conduit (i.e. the Ares' cores). Ultimately it works similarly to Bionis and Mechonis in Xenoblade 1 which were a closed-off world until Shulk remade it into a normal one through the Conduit (i.e. Alvis).
