FYI: Yasuke is completely fictional character outside of there being a black dude who served under Nobunaga, a white British teacher made up the story, wrote a book, and wrote a wikipedia article which sourcers his own books, essentially you have a real person who didn't do anything worthwhile in history who became a samurai because some english teacher cuck from Bongland wanted to get famous in Japan

They say they consult "historians", but then you check out the "historians" used by the industry and media alike, and find out things like how that one guy vidya media used to dunk on lack of diversity in Kingdom Come 1 was not actually a Czech history scholar but a guy who translates Czech history text books in English.

If you want to see just how captured academia is, consider that even gaijin historians of Japan think Lockley is at best a history popularizer ie at a layman level of understanding of history. But they won't speak up because it wpuld empower "racists".
