Squeak Squad is decent but it's super vanilla, I say you'll enjoy it if you enjoy Kirby but it doesn't do anything beyond that
Mass Attack is the exact opposite and it's full gimmick, it's more a puzzle game featuring Kirby than a Kirby game, but it's fun

Too many and it prematurely killed the GBA, which made me mad because I had just gotten the SP and my sister got the first DS.

But then everyone got a DS eventually because they became kinda cheap and you could SHARE games on them with 1 cartridge. That was a HUGE selling point btw. Must have played hours of DS because of that, mainly Mario games and Zelda multiplayer (which wasn't the best, but was still fun).

I liked sonic rush a lot as a kid haven’t played since then so I don’t know if it holds up.

Rhythm Heaven Gold but only if you play it on actual hardware, delay + touch controls must make it a nightmare on emulator.

Yeah, I think it's pretty good. I can't play Kaiju Busters because I'm unable to read it, and I'm fairly certain I'll need to in order to understand how to play it, which is a shame because it features Gomora.
