Honestly the best thing about these releases is how basic and easy they are. Yeah you can just download the games, but sometimes you just get in the mood to play a quick round of Mario Tennis while taking a shit, and that's just fun

Have you tried? Dolphin and Cemu are really well optimized, I have a terrible laptop that can't run the vast majority of games but I can emulate GC and some Wii U without any major issues, the only reason I don't is because I'll rather play GC on my hacked Wii and the only game still locked to the Wii U I wanted to play was Xenoblade X and that's not an issue anymore

I feel like complaints like this detract from the main issue with the emulator.
There's no support for using another Switch/Switch 2 as a GBA via link cable and no support for having the second player online be the Memory Card B slot (important for many games) and that is criminal since the GameCube was a time where Nintendo was experimenting with that sort of thing. It makes playing F-Zero GX and Wind Waker if you have the ability to play with more people a lesser experience.
The games will come but I'm not sure if they'll ever patch in important functionality which brings this service up to par with playing the real thing.
