It's hold RB plus x+a (while running with the left stick and LB and aiming where you want the ball to go with the right stick)
I can see how if you're using WASD you probably run out of fingers so they had to move it to a single click of the mouse. Still, it's a horrible control scheme and k+m players have been complaining for ages about making the game "easier" (like the passes going automatically to the player you want a lá FIFA/PES)
