I have a kid AND play lots of videogames. You can have both but you have to find a job where you can WFH and game all day, then spend your evenings with your kid.

I have a job, a house but no kids and no wife. shit sucks dude. Plenty of time to play games but I spend most of it sleeping or watching youtube videos
