I wish the Darkness would get a PC release so bad. I replay on my PS3 every few years. But the framerate, no AA, and 720p really drag what would otherwise be a beautiful game down.

Battle for Middle Earth and Empire At War are both amazing RTS games (BfME I guess you could argue is technically not strictly a movie adaptation, but the aesthetics are clearly inspired by the Jackson movies' interpretation rather than directly from Tolkien's writing)

in general, if a game is more so adapting the setting rather than the specific plot of the movie it's a lot more likely to be good (although some examples of the later can be fine too, like Goldeneye)
