Hideo Kojima currently has a contract with Microsoft and Sony/Hollywood partners. The game "OD" with Microsoft looks to be a 1990s FMV choose your adventure type of genre. But he made it so it's a totally new genre. Sony and Kojima announced a partnership with a Hollywood studio to make a movie, no details made. I don't want to see his ass back making Metal Gear Solid games.
All of Kojima modern video games are Microsoft Spreadsheet Excel simulators. He started with MGS PeaceWalker and repeated his game design over and over. The NPC info dumps over audio, the spreadsheet basebuilding busywork, everything he does is glued to PeaceWalker portable game design.
