I guessed that destroying the town in exchange for Chloe was a bad option so I just saved the town, but how bad is it? do they end up living traumatized and alone?

The entire town gets destroyed while Max and Chloe leave.
In the sequel Chloe breaks up with Max because she thinks she might abuse her powers. Yes it doesn't make any sense for either of them to behave that way, but the new devs wanted to get rid of Chloe so that Max can have new love interests.

Wait I thought the two sequels were like, different stories of different characters, do max make a cameo and, wait what do you mean chloe breaks up with max? after saving her life and sacrificing the whole fucking town?

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO Glad Iet her die as a hero rather than saving her and letting her cucking Max with Victoria, which should be fucking dead with the rest of the town what the fuck is this shit!?
>>713627359 >after saving her life and sacrificing the whole fucking town?
Yes. >Wait I thought the two sequels were like, different stories of different characters, do max make a cameo?
There are comics in which Chloe is kinda shown Max was Chloe's rebounce relationship from Rachel; and a new game starring Max, in which, if you say you left Chloe alive, the story explains they just kinda just break up.

She gets a sex change and Max uses her time powers to allow Chloe to produce sperm. They have a child then "Kurt" aka Chloe cheats on Max which leads to the events of Double Exposure.

it works better that way but it still isn't very good. it's a rehash of 1 and it takes max like 10 years to face her traumas from back then. it even has a rachel amber subplot that's really half-baked. none of your choices really matter too
