Building a PC is way easier than it looks and even if you're pretty dumb you can probably work it out if you're patient enough, but if you're the kind of person who could mess up a bowl of cereal I'm glad there's still options for you.

I like that people think it is this super difficult thing. It is more or less putting a very easy Lego set together, but the parts are very expensive, so people are afraid of breaking them.
Hell, it is easier than ever before since everything is seemingly compatible with everything now.

I kinda built a new PC recently(had some help on the side) and I don't know much about it myself but here are some general tips from experience
>pick a video card you want to use, then find a CPU that won't bottleneck it
>motherboard is not that important, just make sure it's compatible with the shit you want to use, especially RAM
>don't cheap out on power supply, it's good to have more than you need
>google shit you're unsure about, there's usually plenty of talking and explaining on just about every topic you might need

I picked the parts I wanted and let them build it for me. It was like 150€ more than what I'd pay if I did it myself, so it's really not worth the time and stress. Instead I get a system that has been tested and all parts work. Really neat

Pre-built PCs always give you the most poorly made, cheapest components, they count on the pre-built consoomer never noticing. Sometimes they don't even put in the advertised amount of RAM.

I normally build my own computers, but I recently went for a pre-built for the first time ever because it was the cheapest way to get a 5090 and a Intel Core i9-14900K, and I needed a 5090 for ai projects. I don't regret a thing, the computer came in like a week and I didn't have to touch anything, plus I got a modular case so I can rip it open and add more ram or slap in some nice new fans if I need to in the future.
