Why'd they focus on making a game set in a time period where Christianity was hyper prevalent and should be a thing that is treated with care and research to have it properly weave in with the world and feel realistic?
I've seen some clips of it but the instant thing I've noticed is that they don't actually know anything about Christianity baring surface level knowledge, which, most is based around Catholicism, and they just seem to be using the whole game / story as a way to shit on Catholicism specifically and that's it. They don't seem to actually understand theology or anything else in further depth, and I'd be surprised if they even know what the Trinity is about.
Just why do this when you already know it's not something you would enjoy long term since you know nothing about the subject you're going to try and write about and criticize?
