4chan came back way, way worse. I'd say about every third post now is some basic "ahaha, er, what do you like about girls with feet in videogames?!?" and then everyone starts fucking erping.

Worst part is the alt-sites started doing better just before 4chan came back and they actually had moderation and a lower spam count, and then they all instantly died again.

It's hard for most people to be sincere, when people who are sincere and get shit for it, are basically encouraged to not be sincere. It's even harder for the people who just have genuine taste or opinions or whatever, that are frowned upon on /v/ and/or in general in some way significantly.
