It depends on your roster.
She best in slot for Yi Xuan whose banner ended yesterday, but a sidegrade to existing stunners everywhere else.
You can use her alongside other stunners and put two on a team in addition to an attacker, but if you own already own a combination of Trigger, Lighter, Qingyi and the standard banner stunners you don't benefit much from pulling for her.

She's an easy skip for me considering the 2 new characters on the next banner.
It's just a shame that I have to skip on Caesar's rerun because I actually wanted to get her, but she might be powercrept as a physical character by the 2 new upcoming physical characters.

She's good, but she's a good stunner, which the game already has enough of. Yes she boosts crit damage by a bit, but her stun power is honestly kinda weak compared to even older characters like Koleda. She's not worth pulling for at all imo.

how important is panda for yixuan teams? I got her weapon and also have trigger and astra, they can go to evelyn instead for DA but I think when I only need two teams yixuan/trigger/astra is the best option (other main team is jane/vivi/nicole). It would be a lot of resources to build panda just for DA unless he's better than either trigger or astra

Panda only buffs sheer, so he can be only used with rupture characters due to his core. Outside that he's useless
You can do a hypercarry by fufu buffing overall with her core and buffing decibels for Yinxuan, while Panda buffs sheer and enables Astra-like quickswaps
but then, you'll have overall better team performance if you use astra herself in place of a panda. Or decently stocked other supports like Lucy but i have't tested/checked how her atk buff comapres to sheer buff from panda on top of her normal utility, since i have both m6 lucy and m6 panda
