Assuming you're not baiting, the image on the left ia drastically superior in that it conveys the dread of a truly unknown presence, maybe the dog is alerting to nothing, but maybe it isn't. In the image on the right, there's fucking scooby-doo villain eyes in the door, establishing there is a definite presence and it's likely some goofy shit.
