ALttP has got to be one of THE Zelda games ever. That’s it. It’s well made, but if you like 3D Zelda it’s not your favorite, and if you prefer 2D Zelda it’s probably not your favorite either (Link’s Awakening is a significantly better game despite being on a weaker console). It just exists as a milestone for the franchise and nothing more.

No ugly ass, low res squashed, black and white, weaker than an NES, only two buttons game is better than LttP.

LttP is revered for its artstyle, charm, dungeons, combat, and bosses and it far exceeds Link's Awakening in all those categories.

LttP is just a brilliant, tightly paced, intricately designed, timeless masterpiece

there is only one actual argument in here, which is criticising only having 2 buttons, which in all fairness does suck, but the PC port alleviates this
