I got to the beginning of Act 2 then just stopped. It's kind of fun and interesting but the picto lumen system, 5 different playstyles, different builds, all feel pointless when the entire gameplay boils down to "get 1-2 shot by every new enemy type for a couple fights" then steamroll the rest of them" the lantern boss at the end of act1 burnt me out.

I just got to the big halfway point twist that I’d already spoiled myself on. I’m having deja vu from Lost Odyssey because I dropped that game when you unlock a boat, and I kinda wanna quit this game too. I will keep playing, but it is not that fun. The combat was fun at first but now it feels stale. Exploration was never fun.

Why is everyone saying this game is so great? It just seems like a standard JRPG to me. The music is the best part. The eye movements are very realistic too, but who gives a shit about that?
