You act like they're going to be kept chained to a radiator in his basement. Kids get plenty of social interaction at school, outside, with the neighbours' kids, etc. Ideally, kids should have a curated playlist of child-friendly cartoons to watch, restricted internet use to block R18 content and social media sites (minus YouTube), and limited daily electronics time (2 hours max). With proper parenting, they shouldn't need to resort to mind-numbing brainrot on YouTube Kids or TikTok for entertainment, or end up texting strangers online without their parents' knowledge, or worse. There's a reason most social media sites have age limits, despite them going unenforced.
