Superman loses his powers and has to get them back one by one by defeating villains who hold the crystal or whatever that holds them. Game goes from Metroidvania to open world by the end.
Superman gets teleported to an alien dimension and the planet is identical to Earth but is culturally and technologically still set in the 1940's. All the aliens there revere Superman to the point of absurdity. Going to different dimensions also weakened him to Golden Age levels. The objective is to travel to different planets threatening this new dimension and trying to find a way back home. Final boss is seemingly Darkseid, the true hidden final boss is Mxy who needs to be outwitted rather than beaten physically.

That's Silver Age. Golden Age is when Superman first came out, when he couldn't even fly until the cartoon had him doing it to save on the animation costs of making him leap everywhere like a ridiculous anthropomorphic grasshopper.

I don't know how the excuse that he's too strong makes sense when there are a lot of Dragon Ball video games and Goku has practically the same abilities.

Simple, I would make Nicholas Cage's superman
Post ressurection, not that powerful, not that resistant, not that fast but still a powerhouse and a giant spider as final boss

Are you playing dumb? Obviously, they are referring to the current shows and games, none who was born after the 90's gives a shit about American comics.
>>713732186 >this "recent trend" of Evil Supermen is actually shit from 2 decades ago
No the only idiots here are you and them. Things exists beyond the slop they make for your generation.
