I bought rift apart at full price (wanted more ratchet clank stuff on PC) but it is insanely short, I got 100% achievements in 20 hours
I didn't do new game plus though, so if you include that you might get 20-30ish hours

It's in the woods. It's dark. Sound design is really good except for the sprinting noise, which I personally had to mod out because the jingling was causing some kind of autistic psychic damage. The only picture I have saved is apparently of one of the trader characters but aside from this furfag, the rest of the people you'll meet are some form of freak, creep, or weirdo that will fuck up some other part of the story if you decide to do their chores. I forget if the game has a demo, but the developers themselves put up a copy to pirate because they didn't want people to have to go through G2A if they couldn't afford the steam version, so there's your demo.

Anon every Ratchet game is designed for you to do 2 runs, that's literally why Challenge Mode/NG+ exists.

You're not wrong though, Rift Apart is a solid game but cripplingly short and doesn't do anything too fun with its concept besides a weird pseudo-repeat of Ratchet 1's arc.

I hope the next Ratchet game does away with Nefarious for good.

Considering the price Sony sell it at on PC still, I'd only chump for it if you're absolutely desperate for some new Ratchet. Otherwise just play up to ACiT, they all emulate pretty decently now.

Hell, playing it now is a good idea too. It's the best Terrarialike on the market. Bar none. Not even Terraria itself is better if we exclude content and talk only mechanics and gamedesign. Only other terrarialike that has a chance of competing with it is Keplerth and that one hasn't introduced a deep settlement system yet and is also a bit pricier. Although it does have a really sweet build system.

At a minimum, do the Unofficial patches for all 3 games, the ALOT Texture packs, Improved Static Lighting (which I think is on the ALOT page), ALOV video packs, MELO lighting mod for the first game, the restored Pinnacle Station, Topless Dancer Outfit retextures and the Miranda Restored Butt Shots. Use the Mass Effect Mod Manager and install all your mods/content mods BEFORE you do the texture mods, as once you do the texture files you have to reinstall the entire game to add or change any mods. Obviously do any specific textures for stuff after you install the ALOT ones.
