I've made peace with the fact that nothing I can do with my life will ever have any real meaning and will be forgotten within weeks of my passing. The only worthwhile endeavour is cultivating a relationship with god.

I read heavily from the moment I learned to read to my late twenties. In my teens especially it was not uncommon for me to finish a ~300 page book each day. I have read literally everything worth reading. A few times a year I'll re-read an old favorite but past that, I'm done with it.

Keep yourself busy with other hobbies, people, events, etc. It's easier said than done, but it does help your brain feel like your day was spent well being productive.

Well for one it is, as most hobbies are, a distraction. If you're consciously thinking that you're wasting your time while you're gaming, you're probably not finding the game fun, or games just aren't your thing
