Why aren't there more video games that take place in Amercian high schools?

>bisexuality as fashion
>the all important prom dance

Class of '09 is the only example I can think of and it's fucking dogshit.

this doesn't really happen. i went to a stereotypical upper class suburban high school and the most you could hope for was the occasional thong slip from the hot girl that sits in front of you in math class.
