It won't, it will flop. People will buy more Steam Decks, more Switch 2s, and the Steam Deck 2 when that comes in 2027.

Many people saying this I fear. Unless it's priced at $400/$600 respectively people will just buy Decks. The leaks say $700/$1000 which is absurd. Imagine buying a device as weak as a Steam Deck with a shitty ips screen for $700.

Asus products come with that special C.I.D. repair policy. It's called "customer induced damage" and it protects them against any and all warranty claims. I can't wait to see Phil do damage control when Asus refuses to fix their broken SD card slots or whatever the fuck else goes wrong with these things.

Only as long as it has a price advantage. I donโ€™t think Nintendo is dumb, as soon as one of these things hits $600 retail you will see a price cut on S2 and all this bullshit about how the hardware price isnโ€™t the problem will go straight down the memory hole.

Console plebs are what they are because of brand power.
UMPCs exist because a specific subset of hardware enthusiasts likes to tinker and the idea of a handheld computer is compelling.

Xbox as a brand has no value. It only detracts from the idea of a UMPC, and it offers nothing to a console fan.

Anything less than Switch 2 specs would be embarrassing. If it isn't 1200p, OLED VRR I won't be buying one. Thankfully Legion Go 2 will probably have this.

It'll probably be that but OLED is probably going to be for the higher priced models, they're most likely sticking with LCD like Nintendo did for the Switch 2 for the base model to get it to either $500 or $550. So basically, their current strategy with the Steam Deck.

And it'll still be worth it even for $1000. The Deck Oled's screen is better than virtually every monitor, hell, virtually every tv. VRR would make it perfect.

You don't know this yet. Microsoft might throw a curveball and subsidize cheap models. Then again, it is Microsoft.
>>no cartridges
No Xbox has ever had carts so how would this even work? You can technically hook up a disk reader to it and emulate your Xbox games, so it has physical games in the only way which would make sense without it being comically thick.
>>no detachable controller
This was always a shitty meme. Joycons suck dick and using a real controller has always been better.

Not an excuse for not having them and being a soulless digital-only piece of garbage
>This was always a shitty meme.
It's called innovation, good luck throwing away your xbox handheld when the sticks start drifting.

They won't they're even promoting third party stores over their own, that thing is going to be expensive especially since ASUS doesn't subsidize.
This was always a shitty meme. Joycons suck dick and using a real controller has always been better.
Nintendo innovates with their controls, Sony innovate with their controls, Valve innovate with their controls, Microsoft stopped innovating with the 360 and stagnated the entire industry because they won't add the same stuff in everyone else's controllers. WHERE'S THE FUCKING TRACKPADS AND GYRO, MICROSOFT?
>Every single Xbox and Playstation PC game, many which can't run at a respectable framerate on a Switch 2
Why not just get a Steam Deck or wait on the Deck 2 which will cost less than this?

By being less than half the price and by having games that aren't available on every other digital storefront
It's a neat way to play existing Xbox games, but those games were already available on Xbox Series X, Windows, and a number of other platforms for some of them.

LMFAO unlike the shitch shitcons umpcs let you unscrew sticks and buy cheap replacements for them you clueless faggot.
>you didn't refute me, you only confirmed that they have no exclusive
Since you're an ESL shiteater here's a reminder of what the definition for exclusive is:
"restricted or limited to the person, group, or area concerned."
You can ONLY play those games on devices which AREN'T a switch 2, thereby making them EXCLUSIVE to other hardware. Eat shit nigger, it mogs the fuck out of your weak toy with a shit screen.
