Am I missing something? I was so-so on the original and I'm not feeling much better about this one ~5 hours in. Yeah it's more sub-Metal Gear than the first but it doesn't really feel that good to play. The first boss (the skull BT) was awful thanks to how close to Sam the camera sticks.

The first game wasn't great, it wasn't completely terrible either. But it managed to contain everything wrong with modern video games. I've listed it all out here many times but i cbf doing it again.

I notice with these promo things that op posted, where they list all the review scores, they never show quotes from real reviews - like all the 6 and 7/10 ones. Metro are one of the few places left on the planet doing proper reviews these days.
