FEAR2 is good. FEAR 1 is great. FEAR 3 is hated by many but I think it's fine.

I have the theory that zoomies need to use "mid" every hour or their transition pills will stop working.

yeah i always thought it was overrated. It's not bad but idk it's nothing special. That AI was good back then but that's it

You gotta be a zoomer if you haven't played FEAR. If you actually played FPS games from back in the day, you can actually appreciate how good FEAR is, from its shooting mechanics to its level design.

More like easter egg collecting, I think I missed half of them because I would just hear the sound but couldn't see her anywhere.

Played FEAR 1 for the first time recently Loved it. Started extraction point but got frustrated during the sentry turret part. https://files.catbox.moe/g5losw.mp4

Bullshit that anon is right.

>Great level design that doesn't forcefuck you down some corridor of hitscan bullets.
>Amazing audio design and physics effects, zapping motherfuckers into skeletons with that one laser super weapon.
>Kickass first person melee moves that are context sensitive (jumping, crouching, moving, standing still) that do great damage that couples great with the next point.
>Slow motion ability like max payne that's actually pretty unforgiving with it's recharge time so if used in a bad spot will get you killed. But also shows off all those great effects mentioned above. The slow motion explosion of a frag grenade in a group of psi-controlled soldiers is something every gaymur needs to experience once.
>Enemy that actually moves around you. Doesn't just sit in one spot or in cover popping in and out shooting down a hallway waiting to get headshotted.
>Spoopy moments with a ghost girl and later psi ghosts.

It was honestly a better half-life 2 than half-life. The only real issue is the inability to have more than two weapons at a time but that was the growing trend in the 00s.

Half Life 2 has good levels. You couldn't remember one level in fear if a gun was at your head

Dont forget that the flashlight battery drains quick, making it crucial to manage during traversal and fights
