i used to regularly go on youtube looking for brazilian san andreas mods because they're hilarious but a recurring feature of them is they'll add favelas all over, random parks are massive favelas now
i frequently wonder if there are any other games that have this phenomena, pokemon but every pokemon has 5 speakers plugged in to it, the entire soundtrack is base boosted and all of the routes are favelas
I want to play some pokemon after so many years but I don't care for anything past lugia/Ho-oh.
Are there any good hacks with the first 250 or so pokemon?

i played yellow legacy and enjoyed it, it was basically just fixed bugs + all pokemon available, the guys that made it have another hack called crystal legacy so if it's of similar quality it's probably decent

Too vanilla in the mechanics for me. I was excited for the later additions of abilities and splitting of moves. I am looking into Polished crystal now since he recommended it.
