You need to understand that some games, like this one, are literally made for small children, like 3 to 7 year olds. I don't mean that as an insult, it's just who it's for. This thread is like if someone posted a picture of a toddler's tricycle on a BMX forum and complained that the tricycle isn't a very good bike for adults to go offroading with.

Odyssey is basically halfway between traditional levels and open world ones which is just as bad as open world

it's only half as bad. odysseys problem is that the moon tasks are fucking boring shit and don't incentivise the movement mechanics.
