You don't necessarily need 'AI' and LLMs for this kind of thing. There's been a few attempts at using neural networks for NPC behaviour, but I don't think it's been used in any decent games so far. It's definitely possible, even for a retard nocoder.

I'm an oldfag so if I wanted realism I'd just go outside. Stylized, janky graphics are relevant for a lot longer than whatever is considered realistic in whatever the current year they are made in.

Eh? Inzoi has kinda like a slightly stylized photo filter and soft lightning to make it look more like an idealized photoshoot or a Kdrama, which is what they were aiming for but those aren't cel shaded graphics at all. In fact this game is much more akin to cell shaded PS2 graphics, albeit with /co/mblr character designs instead.

sure but what we'd call janky style now would've been considered as "realistic" back in the day. DMC3 devs said they aimed to make that game's graphics as realistic as possible which is why they don't consider DMC5 graphics as a deviation from the artstyle of the franchise. Same thing for Metal Gear Solid or Tekken or whatever.

Still, some games age abhorrently. I can't stand looking at Sims 3 and even Sims 4 is an eyesore even with animu ENBs and ReShades.
