What do you guys think of Resonance of Fate? Over $20 is still kind of a lot for a 7 year old port of a 15 year old 360 game, but I've never seen it for less. I had it as a teenager and got filtered by the combat, but I hear it's actually pretty easy if you abuse triangle attacks.

Fallout 1 and 2 are pretty simple, and have a lot of freedom in how you approach stuff, so you can figure some way to progress. Wasteland 2 is very easy to get into if you are somewhat familiar with xcom combat.
Dragon Age Origins is quite approachable, although the skill descriptions are obtuse.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic is also in that peak Bioware era, very easy and enjoyable game for the most part.

I've only beaten the first 2 Witcher games using FCR mods, made by one of the devs in free time. Sometimes the challenge is overtuned to the edge of reasonable, but at least it's not deadly boring. I mean it's kind of a complicated feeling on this one. Post-release patches and the DLC that the PC version comes bundled with give some good content, but the base game is disappointingly shallow unless you really like some of the open spaces, and if you haven't treated yourself to the whole lore of the series up to that point including mobile game plot, it basically becomes a garbled bunch of nonsense. I don't hate KH3, but for a "finale" to the main arc proposed at that point, it was pretty miserable to go through at release.
