Miro's spaghetti code can drag things down but. In Mahabre Back Alleys, it slows down a lot for me and I found it's due to the presence of many shadow tiles. I'm trying to figure out a way to fix this issue without getting rid of the shadows. I have a theory that substituting the many small shadow tiles with several bigger ones instead will fix it but I haven't tested out this theory yet.

Was Termina updated at any point after release? I was beyond hyped for this game after loving F&H1 but I don't know, for some reason it didn't hit nearly as hard... not to mention it reeked of "creator let himself be influenced by his Discord fanbase and put people's barely disguised fetishes in the game itself". Alllmer doesn't have a strictly positive side, the blood weapons are a reflection of the Wrath and Vengeance he embodies. He responds to suffering but does so in a way that arms you to avenge yourself. Besides, in the first game his spells were all utility things like teleporting, walking on water or multiplying bread.

Sulphur is very much separate and definitely far more evil. From what I can tell, he's a pure chaosfag, telling you to shed all morality and indulge in endless carnage. That's a great deal different to Alllmer who has a directed wrath towards perpetrators of your suffering. Remember that he ruled Mahabre at some point as king, and if it was Sulphur you wouldn't even be able to move through the streets because they'd be clogged with bodies.

Well most people haven't ever seen a god with their own eyes, so depictions and actual appearance tend to vary, even Gro-Goroth's statue in Mahabre where he was supposedly physically present for some time is different from the gro-goroth we meet in the first game even though the book one is fairly close, it could also be that they change their appearance from time to time. Either way O'Saa comments how odd and somber the Alll-Mer statue in the church is, very unlike his statues in the Eastern Sanctuaries, the museum also tells us about the different depictions of Alll-Mer. It could be for gameplay reasons but Alll-Mer and Sulfur skills are on the same tree, inverse crown of thorns for example where supposedly Sulfur laughs at your death and the spear which actually carries Sulfur's sigil.

I hope the update buffs the meteor spells.
As is they're completely redundant; the single target is a literal 1:1 copy of Hurting except it can't be spiced, and the aoe version has to compete with combustion and roots that reap
