It was incredibly barebones, just basic metroidvania overworld movement and combat boils down to juggling enemies in a turn-based system with terrible balance. Worst part is the unlikeable protagonist who is a constant lunatic making terrible decisions. The former bad guy who joins her has the only character development in the story and sacrifices himself to save the lives of many people after protag spergs out in godmode, only for her to go "Uh yeah RIP, I never really liked him". Clearly nothing of the original story concept survived after Ahad left.

I can see where they were going with Ajna's development, but it was horribly executed
The cunt is unbereable for 4/5 of the game just to snap her fingers and become tomboy buddha
Also what they did to my boy is unforgivable, you can't kill the only likeable character in the cast
I was also extremely annoyed by the kickstarter OC donut steel in every corner, they didn't even try toi have a cohesive artstyle

Storywise it's terrible.
Starts ok, and then all the tension evaporates when they meet Razmi.
Gameplaywise is mediocre.
The platforming is limited and tries to be a metroidvania of sorts with paths only opening once you have new skills, but the map design is not the best and there is not much reward for trying to sequence break since most stuff is story-combat locked anyway.
As for the combat it is basically spam a way to break the enemy defense then multihit to keep it juggling. There are many characters but you end up doing similar shit no matter what.
It also pays little to get good at combat since many enemies become damage sponges so it doesn't matter how good your combos are since you do so little damage it would be better to hunt for upgrades and do more damage.
Shame because Thorani was super hot, I also like Leilani.
