The art style is nice and all but I feel like this doesn't capture Earthbound in any way shape or form; it's annoying seeing the "Earthbound-inspired" label when I don't think I've ever played a single game remotely similar in spirit to Earthbound

Yes, EarthBound is the best game. I'm surprised games continued to be made after EarthBound's release, because its perfection renders other games unnecessary.

he did come to his senses and stop hurting lucas but claus was still twisted in some way and had to kill himself.
i think he just wasn't really alive anymore at that point either because of porky's experiments or because he really did die when he attacked the mecha drago.
