The best thing about Wilds is that it was so shit it made me actually finish Rise and get to Sunbreak which is really good.

This actually can happen. Cities Skylines caused the same thing. People were so disappointed with the sequel, they stopped playing the original altogether. The new release ended up reducing the total number of players overall.

Monster hunter doesn't work with infinite camp restocking and cheese modes like temporal mantle, wirebug evade and seikret mount. 5th and 6th can't give you tense hunts where you run out of heals and have to lock in. Wilds reaches the point of abject clownery where you do not have to prepare for hunts, maintain your weapon, position during combat or even fight the monster more than twice. So called "quality of life" has turned a great action franchise into slop that no one wants to play more than 30 hours of.

Why does this game make third worlders seethe endlessly? I have a 3070 with 8gb of VRAM, can't even run it past 45 fps on medium settings, and I'm not complaining

World was solid, but it is also the worst MH I've played. It has by far the largest amount of annoyances and bad systems, and it has the worst map design by a landslide, unless Wilds is worse, but I didn't play Wilds after the beta felt like ass.
I'm not saying Rise is flawless, it really isn't, but to me it felt like Rise did try to unfuck some of the most egregious things from World and I enjoy playing Rise significantly more than I enjoy playing World.
