He pissed all over his fans by claiming MGS2's main character was Snake and then laughed about it when he got called out on it
He set out to make aaa slop with 'movies as games' from MGS1 and he's the reason we have utter shit being shit out

His 'games' are usually '60-90 minutes of good gameplay, 2 hours of pointless and tedious shit that has no relevance other than 'this makes the game seem longer' and then anywhere from 4-16 hours of cutscenes/dialogue'

no, snake is an honorable man. Hed never fuck another mans wife and try and run away with her, and cuck the husband. He also wouldnt beg someone and believe them that they'd spare her when she was in danger. Snake is too cynical and jaded for that. Neil at best looks like knockoff snake, but that's it. I'm fairly certain neil is supposedly based off solid snake, who insofar as I know is not being remastered, thats naked snake, big boss. So I don't think this reference works. Further, I think its just a good representation of kojimas degradation as he's spent more time near hollywood. Or maybe its just an expression of his current hatred of metal gear solid and solid snake, who he probably feels he can't really escape, so he wants to lash out at him, or at best a representation of him that he attempted to create.

Exactly. Kojima basically wrote himself into a creative corner with Snake being more iconic than anything else he ever did. Big Boss turning into a Snake lookalike was the moment the series stopped being about narrative and started being about wrestling with his own legacy in real-time. Every game after MGS3 is him dragging around the corpse of Snake while trying to pretend he's not. The man is literally haunted by his own greatest creation.
