A /v/ server pops up every few months, people play for like two weeks, then it dies. It's hard to coordinate a bunch of autists to all play at the same time.
/vg/ is at least alive on weekends and for like three hours in the afternoon on weekdays.

Tried ss14 a while back and it just seems to have mostly the same issues as ss13 in the recent years, tranny cliques and just people who refuse to do any rp and just nod and shrug like typing anything is too much effort.
Also 1/3 round seemed to be nukies, probably because they just refuse to implement more antags for some reason.

A lot of people are just bitchmade these days. They're stuck in the idea of what they feel they deserve and aren't willing to take or build things for themselves, leading to nothing happening. There's more than enough players in this thread within the past 3 hours to have had a shift or two, but the average 4ch*d is more about wanting that server clay. It's not enough to play, they only want to play if the server is popular enough to be 24/7 and at worst still be double digit when it hits lowpop in the dead of night, and so they have zero drive to actually foster that kind of community, nor do they have the dedication to infiltrate a server and slowly overtake it in a few years like trannies do.
