It's more general pseud than specifically left-wing but I think it's closer to making fun of anyone who holds any ideological belief at all (and also for not holding any) than having one itself

it kind of is, but it also isn't. like the devs clearly do lean left, but it's surprisingly nuanced and is equally critical of left wing/communism as much as it is anything else. it also allows you to be an unapologetic uber-racist chud if you want, and that's a perfectly valid way to play. the game basically just wants you to be extreme in a belief, no matter what that belief is.

if you're the type of person who will seethe over any non-black and white take of left vs. right politics, it's probably not the game for you. but if you are willing to look outside of that paradigm, it's a great game.
