The Inscryption video game scratched that itch a little bit. It is fun if you haven't tried it before. Otherwise, no, I haven't found anything like it. I play the GBA Yugioh games if I want to play the game as it was back then.

Having a variety of interactions instead of all the same thing
An old combo board with Apo, Baronne, Savage, IP, Naturia Beast could die to anything that can negate a bunch of monsters
Compare to a modern Blue Eyes board which has a couple of negates on its boss monsters but also good backrow (majesty/drillbeam), protection from certain kinds of interaction (true light and that fusion that sits in grave)

1 might have more raw interaction but its also more prone to dying to a single blowout card. 2 is much harder to break overall.
