Except people that jump into games wont even notice it. Look at games that existed for years and everyone that says how the game was at its peak during X.XX patch. Most people that joined after that point will still say they had a blast. I observed this phenomenon with WoW, League, Dota, Overwatch, Apex, WoT, etc.

>player realized that they got addicted and had to break free and warn people of it

>dev got bought out by a worse company
>update added invasive/shit DRM
>sudden censorship due to govt changes in [country]
>dev announced a sequel without fixing issues the original game has

>game SHOULD go F2P but isn't, and all that's left are the sweaty tryhards competing against each other

I'm typically careful enough with purchases that I almost never refund a game, but that actually seems retarded. Refunding negates your review? So the only way to leave a review of "don't recommend" is to intentionally keep a product you don't want? (Or be outside the refund window)

Nigga, look through the reviews of games, sometimes you'll see "product refunded" next to a review. Plus all my old reviews of shit I've refunded is still there, even when viewing my main account from my alt.
As long as you review before refunding, it's fine. I don't think you can review something after refunding it.
