They are innovators, on how you transform a human into a retarded brand slave and then how do you weaponise that nostalgia.

Disney did that first, Nintendo didn't create it. They just want to become the Disney of Japan, hence the focus on parks and side shit.

Switch 2 is exactly what you and everyone else asked for. You wanted a more powerful Switch and a bigger Switch so it can play games current gen games and no gimmicks. The Switch 2 is exactly that and it has been breaking records with its sales

>it's just le bigger
I hate that. by the time they release the Switch 3 I won't be able to carry it around with me anymore because the thing will be as big as a fucking original Xbox. Fuck you Nintendo.

Disney adults do not go to war for the lion king, tendies will fight endless battles online to defend the honor of their corporate champion. The level of brand slave then are generating is on a complely different level.

They haven't innovated since GameCube. That was the last time Nintendo was on par with other hardware. Since then they lost the race hard. Even Sakurai admitted this in his Youtube videos that they couldnt compete against PS2 & PS3 so they had to rebadge their unsold GC units and try a difrerent method.

The keyword is right there.
The GameCube was the last good console from them.
Someone will give me sales numbers as if that's the only thing that matters.

>Switch 2 screen is marginally better than a 20 year old handheld

I really can't stand Nintendo fans

I'll be honest. I only stayed around with consoles because of Nintendo. Namely because they were the only ones left doing anything interesting with their hardware and offering different feels and play experiences. People like >>713898301 and >>713897919 will claim I just like gimmicks and I can't say they're 100% wrong on that, but at least they were trying and doing something new. I'm skipping Switch 2 because "play the same way you did last time but with better graphics" hasn't been appealing to me for years and is also why I don't have a PlayStation or an Xbox. After building a PC, both became irrelevant.

I'm going to keep watch on Nintendo for next generation though. Hopefully they do more than a Switch 2 Pro Plus and call it Switch 3, but if that's what people want and they have fun with that, it's cool.

Why risk innovating when you're winning this much?
Just look at Mario Kart World: they attempting to innovate with interconnected tracks, and it's fuckin' sucks.

They stopped innovating sometime during Wii development.
It was a big step forward, but they released it half-baked and then not only did nothing with it, but discarded it outright after 7th gen.
The Switch is basically just a garbage 360 pad, which is just a garbage Duke, which is just a garbage Dreamcast controller.

I liked the 64 and the Wii more than the Gamecube. If Wii U ended up actually reaching its potential I'd probably like that better than Gamecube too.
