>are you a toddler? fucking hell learn to treat your stuff with care
I barely used the analog stick because I'm more into d-pad games anyways.
I had a dualsense for 2 years now, no drift. About the same amount of time as my joycons (which are now gathering dust to be fair, but I haven't had that problem 3 months ago). Same with practically any other controller I owned. I don't go smacking the stick left and right like crazy, they are just poorly designing these.
Missed inputs was an issue I had day 1 after buying it. I thought it was faulty and then some time after I learned that that's by design. I heard the xbox series X controller has the same design flaw, so I didn't consider it.

Dual Sense's haptics are amazing when used properly. I like Gyro aiming too and prefer symmetrical sticks. Biggest issue I have with it is that some games on PC don't support it when I pirate so I have to use third party software.
Series X controller is still pretty good though.

Cheap materials (everything is one piece now to save money), shorter and worse shoulder buttons, shorter triggers, those fucking retarded gaymer grip shit things on the back.

I got an SN30 Pro 2 right about the time the first revision of the ultimate controller came out.
My experience was false diagonals and some laggy/buggy gyro. Latency wise was fine but it wasn't impressive otherwise.
Has this fixed any of that? Is the d-pad any better? Is gyro as good as the dualsense's now? Can gyro be used on Steam without issues?

It's shit. The only reason people even think that the Xbox controller is good is because of all of the godawful 7th gen ports that fucked up every single input method.
This controller was obsolete in the 90s and would be basically unusable today if the market hadn't shit itself to death.

Dual analog can only function with aim assist and even then games have massively simplified gameplay just to make them more palatable when playing with just dual analog.

Preferable layout
Good tactile even on the triggers
Good build quality
Good vibration
Good grips
Also good size and weight
Not that expensive as well
I prefer + dpad but it's tolerable because good resistance anyway
Not to mention analog stick height is just right, sony and nintendo's analogs tend to be shorter
Good enough battery life
Only thing this thing is missing is hall effect analog, granted you can mod it yourself but it's so close to perfection

Yeah was asking about ultimate 2. As for forums the only thing I could find is that there was an update for it from valve but not much else and it has been like a year ago. Thought I could get some up to date info here.
