For most people it’s probably a combination of not enough exercise, wearing improperly fitting shoes, bad chairs and/mattresses.
Or they’ve got a physical job standing on a concrete floor all day like in a warehouse, kitchen, or retail storefront.
Shoes can mitigate that but not 100% unless your employer puts down anti-fatigue mats and actually replaces them periodically.
