If you didn't get this then at October you got hacked you'd complain they did a shit job for not telling you, Security updates are almost mandatory for Windows even if the chance of it happening to (You) is 0.000000000000001%.

I had to do a fresh install of Windows 11 recently. Windows 10 gradually got worse through out the year. I had enough when every game crashed within the first 3 minutes. I was too lazy to check if I had driver issues or SSD issues. So I replaced the M.2 SSD with new m.2 SSD. Installed Windows 11 and it runs FLAWLESSLY.
My HDR looks better, no more micro stuttering in games, used groupon for a 12 dollar windows key. I am very happy right now.

You're underestimating how cheap phones are. You can get a legitimate android smart phone at walmart for $30 or less and while the phones are obviously not great they are a fantastic alternative for projects where you'd use something like a Raspberry Pi because they're so cheap and run android so its a very versatile device.

Im still using windows 7. I can browse the internet just fine and play older and better vidya. The only reason I cant play newer things is because they artificially lock you out of new stuff to try and force you to upgrade.

But I wont for a while. Why upgrade when everything works great.

That goes for whatever OS you pick, period. The safest OS/build will forever be an OS that never touched the internet. With this being said, it can be 10, xp, linux, hackintosh mac, doesn't matter. Pick what ever you want if it's an offline machine.

Everything is pure non-sensible dribble if you're ranting about internet privacy in current year. It doesn't exist anymore, for anything in the IoT.

That's very fine for the real old rigs, but toggling on AMD's fTPM is significantly more recommended than the rufus route. Latter is probably why tons of amd users have stability issues. I bet it's even more unstable than old intel CPUs.

>>713940073
Anon, I think you should be fine. look up fTPM in the bios, it's amd's version of their built-in tpm. Anything past the 5000 Ryzen are still solid. 7000 series (x3d at that) is seriously okay for w11, don't listen to the poorfags.

The newer version of windows being worse than the previous one does not make the previous one any better. Saying the newer one is worse is not praising the previous one.

First people become nostalgic about it, then people just forget about the bad parts after enough years go by. Simple as that, same reason why XP gets romanticized nowadays when in reality it took in just as much flak as the rest with its problems.

Safest/most peaceful transition imho was Vista -> 7 because the hardware generation leap happened at the beginning of Vista, and 7 didn't demand much of what Vista asked for in comparison back then. That's practically the only reason why people truly liked 7, it just worked.

Hard to forget when every single part of your OS is a putrid pile of shit, if anything I imagine 11 and 12 will just push normies towards apple, and everyone else will keep using 10 and linux

Wait until trannies ruin linux and start making toddler-tier distros for their retards. What ever Windows and Apple are doing, is the endgame for all operating systems.
Still makes me laugh also when retards think linux is the Incognito Mode of the pc realm. Please don't be be type that gets compromised like other pdf troons here, thinking they're slick on linux.

let's not forget that the only reason that linux has made any progress in gaming support in the past 20 years is because gaben is paying people to make it work
