How does ESA even afford to run? I assume it works like GDQ where they give all of the "donations" to the charity and then the charity gives them a check to cover their operating expenses. but for GDQ, they're bringing in like millions. ESA does what, 100k on a good year? is most of that going towards operating expenses so that the charity nets like $10k? Or do they get the venue through some goverment program making it super cheap to run?

But spoken japanese is probably one of the nicest sounding, along with Latin, for similar reasons, very small rate of consonants per word. Compared to other languages like chink, korean, german or any of those slav langauges, japanese sounds like honey being poured into your ears. Having a great industry of Vocal Actors probably helps too.
