There was an N64 game I liked as a kid called Spacestation Silicon Valley.
There were a bunch of robot animals running around and you play as a little microchip bug that can jump between them and pilot them.
It was cool because each animal had its own special abilities. You had to run around killing the animals and try out their powers to figure out how to kill bosses or solve puzzles.
Looking back, the graphics were absolute ass, but I'd love to play a modern version of this idea.

Skyrim, you can transform into a werewolf or a Vampire Lord. Or Veilguard, where you can transform into a faggot.

Never tried doing a werewolf or vampire run. It always seemed weaker than just using strong gear. But I guess if you forced yourself to avoid crafting meta and lowered the difficulty to keep it balanced, it might be interesting.
